Welcome to the home of the Pioneers!
As we welcome the New Year 2026, I want to take a moment to celebrate the tremendous growth and progress we are seeing across our Partin Settlement Elementary community. These months mark an important time of reflection, renewed focus, and continued learning as we build upon the strong foundation established earlier in the school year.
As Pioneers, we are trailblazers bold, curious, and committed to growing together as a community of learners. Every day, our students, staff, and families work hand‑in‑hand to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where every child can thrive. I am incredibly proud of the dedication and perseverance our students demonstrate as they continue to strengthen their academic skills, deepen their thinking, and embrace new challenges.
At Partin Settlement Elementary, learning does not pause—it evolves. As instruction becomes more rigorous during the third nine weeks, our teachers remain focused on meeting the needs of every learner through intentional instruction, collaboration, and high expectations. We are grateful for our families’ continued partnership in supporting student success both at school and at home.
We are also proud to be a PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) school, where character development is just as important as academic achievement. Our guiding principles—the Pioneer Three—serve as the foundation of our school culture and help shape students into respectful, responsible, and resilient individuals.
At Partin Settlement Elementary, we strive every day to be:
-
Respectful in our words and actions
- Responsible in our choices and commitments
- Positive Problem Solvers who face challenges with courage and creativity
These values are intentionally woven into everything we do, from classroom instruction to playground interactions, and they empower our students to become thoughtful, confident, and compassionate leaders of tomorrow.
As we continue this exciting journey into 2026, let us remain united in our commitment to growth, learning, and one another. Together, we will blaze new trails, celebrate every success, and support each other every step of the way.
Thank you for entrusting us with your children and for being an essential part of our Pioneer family. I am honored to serve as your principal and look forward to a year filled with continued progress, joy, and pioneering spirit.
With Pioneer Pride,
Casey Corbett
